SANA is a miner-friendly storage area network based on the blockchain. The project now offers its first Merchant Miner Motivation Plan for the sake of welcoming highly motivated miners with a unique pledge-for-SANA scheme. Application window lasts for 10 days with a total pool of 50,000,000 SANA on the first-come-first-served basis. Successful borrowers should repay SANA in due time, otherwise they may face liquidation.

2. How to participate
Target participants: All merchant miners with a certain amount of customer and equipment
The subsidy amount is based upon the scale of the merchant miner:
*Large miner subsidy: 500,000 SANA (Pledge of 7.5 ETH required);
*Small and medium-sized miner subsidy: 100,000 SANA (Pledge of 1.5 ETH required);
Note: The period of ETH-pledge-for-SANA should be within ONE month; ETH will not be returned if the borrower fails to repay SANA in time.

A. Large merchant miner — pledge 7.5 ETH for 500,000 SANA

*Official community post: promotion of SANA mining service;
*Send us your Ethereum wallet address for receiving ETH repay;
*Ethereum wallet address of valid SANA nodes * 10, along with totally 10 active checkbook contract address and at least 3 public network IP. These 10 Ethereum wallet addresses are for receiving $SANA from the event.
B. Small and medium-sized miner — pledge 1.5 ETH for 100,000 SANA
*Merchant miner introduction: intro of the scale of current and prospect customers;
*Provide official certificates and links to official contacts(which can be later verified for authenticity);
*Official website/Twitter/Medium/Reddit or any other means of contacts;
*Official community post: promotion of SANA mining service;
*Send us your Ethereum wallet address for receiving ETH repay;
*Ethereum address of valid SANA nodes * 2, along with totally 2 active checkbook contract address and at least 1 public network IP. These 2 Ethereum wallet addresses are for receiving $SANA from the event.

This motivation plan is SANA’s first attempt to expand miner group. SANA will introduce more support and incentive activities in the future if this scheme turns out well, .
Certainly, a sustainable storage network is inseparable from a good market environment. SANA welcomes more technology developers to join the network, which would help SANA build a balanced environment where ecology is prosperous and technology is stable.
SANA and Ethereum have a complementary relationship. SANA complements the storage solution that the Ethereum environment urgently needs to solve. This solution should have been implemented by Swarm. However, SANA is reckoned to be more sophisticated with a more reasonable economic model and more reliable data security.
Like Ethereum, SANA is also a set of underlying infrastructure at the blockchain Layer0. Only if the network is used by actual developers and applications will it become valuable. SANA is developing an Ethereum contract suite, which can directly allow developers to call and access conveniently and friendly without relying on an external ecosystem like IPFS.
SANA’s vision is to expand the blockchain through point-to-point storage and communication system, to realize the decentralization of cloud computing, and provide a deployment and operating environment for computer operating systems and applications.
